Sharing knowledge through CPD
September 2026
Alongside product supply and specification support, we continue to work directly with architectural and design practices through CPD sessions. Our recent presentations have explored the practical and technical considerations behind tile specification, while giving teams the opportunity to handle samples and discuss real project requirements.
Recent CPD topics
- Ceramic and porcelain tiles – understanding the differences
- Current tile trends, finishes and formats
- Slip resistance and UK PTV requirements
- Selecting appropriate finishes for commercial and residential environments
The aim is straightforward: to help specifiers make informed material choices that work aesthetically, technically and practically. Our team can support projects from early material selection and sampling through to supply, fabrication and installation options.
Surface Design Show London (2026)
February 2026
Surface Design Show gives us the opportunity to meet architects and designers face to face, present new materials and exchange ideas around the direction of surface design. Following our previous London exhibition, Elit Tile will be returning in February with new displays and fresh collections.
The next stand will build on what we have learned from the showroom, our CPD programme and conversations with specifiers – with a strong focus on materials that combine design impact with practical performance.
The Surface Design Show 2027 will bring together architects, interior designers and industry professionals to explore the latest innovations in surface materials and finishes. Showcasing an inspiring mix of textures, colours, patterns and emerging trends, the event provides an opportunity to discover new products, meet leading suppliers and explore fresh approaches to contemporary design. From innovative materials to timeless finishes, the show celebrates the creativity and craftsmanship shaping the future of interior and architectural surfaces.
A showroom built for specification
January 2026
Our Elit Tile showroom brings together an extensive selection of porcelain, ceramic and specialist wall and floor finishes in one place. It is designed as a working specification space where architects, designers and clients can compare materials, colours, formats and textures at full scale – and discuss the technical requirements behind the design.
From large-format porcelain and stone effects to mosaics, decorative pieces, bold colour and distinctive three-dimensional wall finishes, the showroom gives project teams the opportunity to build complete material palettes rather than select products in isolation.
Samples are available for you to take away. Please contact us if you would like to make an appointment to visit by calling us on 01474 643205 or 07856 963166.
